United Way Announces Key Promotions

United Way of Reno County is excited to announce the promotions of Valerie Taylor and Carla Stanfield, reinforcing its leadership team and commitment to the community. Effective immediately, Valerie Taylor has been promoted to Director of Community Impact, and Carla Stanfield has been promoted to Director of Development and Marketing.
Valerie Taylor, who previously served as the Community Impact Coordinator, has been a vital part of United Way’s efforts to drive change in the community. In her new role as Director of Community Impact, Valerie will continue to lead initiatives that address critical needs in Reno County, with a focus on strengthening youth opportunity, healthy community, financial security and community resiliency.
“Valerie has shown tremendous leadership and passion in her role, working tirelessly to make a difference in our community,” said Lacey Mills, CEO of UWRC. “We are thrilled to see her in this new role, where her skills, experience, and dedication will ensure even greater success in advancing our mission.”

Carla Stanfield, who previously served as a Development Manager, has been promoted to Director of Development and Marketing. Carla has been instrumental in growing and strengthening United Way's fundraising efforts and community outreach. In her new role, Carla will oversee development, marketing, and communications strategies to support the organization’s fundraising goals and community engagement.
“We are proud to promote Carla, whose passion and commitment to United Way’s work have been vital in advancing our mission,” said Mills. “Her passion for our work, and previous experience will play a key role in driving our continued growth and helping us to better serve the needs of Reno County.”
