United Way of Reno County Announces New Campaign Chairs

United Way of Reno County is exited to announce that Keith and Angie Zwickl have accepted the roles of Campaign Co-Chairs for the 2024-25 community-wide giving campaign.  As local business owners, and involved in a number of non-profit organizations in Reno County, the Zwickls bring experience and passion to help drive charitable giving through United Way this coming campaign season.

“We hope to bring more awareness to all the funded partners and all the amazing work United Way does for Reno County,” said Angie Zwickl.  “We want to ask everyone to participate in giving this year, even one dollar a paycheck can make a big difference in our community.”

“Giving to United Way allows everyone in our community the chance to be charitable,” added Keith Zwickl.  “We also want to make sure that our community knows that local dollars stay local to impact Reno County non-profits and residents.”

About the Campaign Co-Chairs

Keith and Angie Zwickl are longtime residents of Hutchinson. They just celebrated their 20-year wedding anniversary and combined have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. They have worked together most of their relationship believe it or not! They started dating when they both worked at MidWest Ford and they have worked together for the last eight years in real estate. Keith and Angie's shared passions are motorcycle riding, camping, traveling and spending time with friends and family. They are both involved in many community organizations including New Beginnings, United Way of Reno County, Kansas Children's Service League, and Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters. Keith and Angie's passion for helping people is what led them into real estate and is what keeps them successful in their business. 

 

About the 2024-2025 United Way of Reno County Campaign 

"Connecting Our Community" - This season, UWRC will work to raise $1.3M dollars to invest back in to 21 Reno County non-profits and their 33 various programs, as well as to support six programs operated out of the UWRC office. Mills said, "At United Way, we chose 'Connecting Our Community' as our campaign theme because it embodies our commitment to bringing people together. We are dedicated to connecting individuals to essential resources, nonprofits to each other, and community members to causes they are passionate about. Through our daily efforts, we witness firsthand the power of connection in creating positive change."
