2025 New Board Members
Dr. Michael Little
Michael Little, is a board-certified pediatrician with over 15 years of experience providing exceptional care to infants, children, and adolescents. For the past five years, he has been a provider of the Hutchinson Clinic, delivering both inpatient and outpatient pediatric services.
Prior to returning to Kansas in 2019, Dr. Little practiced in Detroit, Michigan, where he and his physician partner in private practice earned the distinction from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan as the number one Patient Centered Medical Home practice (PCMH) in the state. During his time in Detroit, he also served on the board and finance and contracting committee for The Physician Alliance, an independent physician organization representing over 2,200 providers.
Dr. Little currently serves as the Medical Director for Informatics and Population Health at the Hutchinson Clinic. In this role, he leads efforts to integrate data-driven strategies to improve patient outcomes and care quality. Additionally, he is the clinical leader for Stratum Med Accountable Care Organization, fostering collaboration among healthcare partners nationwide to enhance population health initiatives.
In academia, Dr. Little previously held an appointment as Associate Professor of Pediatric Clinical Medicine at Central Michigan University, where he played a significant role in mentoring future healthcare professionals.
Dr. Little is deeply committed to his community and his family. He has been married for 25 years to his wife, a Hutchinson native, and together they have three children: an adult daughter currently in college and two younger children attending schools in the Buhler school district. Dr. Little’s dedication to his patients, his profession, and his community continues to shape his approach to delivering high-quality, compassionate pediatric care.
Dr. Tricia Paramore
Dr. Paramore was born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas, and graduated from Hutchinson High School. She earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Cellular Biology and Genetics and a Master’s degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Kansas, and completed the Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Educational Studies, with specialization in Educational Leadership and Higher Education.
Dr. Paramore started her career as a biology instructor at community colleges in Kansas and Texas. For the last 28 years, she has served Hutchinson Community College as professor, department chair, Vice President of Academic Affairs, and President. Her professional experience extends to faculty development, higher education accreditation, and leadership of strategic planning processes.
Her past involvement in the community includes Haven City Council President, Haven Community EMS Board, organizer of the Scouting Merit Badge College, Leadership Reno County, and currently serves on the YMCA Board, Cosmosphere Board, and Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce Board.
Dr. Paramore is married to Lonnie, her husband of 27 years, and they have two adult children, Payton and Faith.
Tyler Vance
Tyler Vance is the Director of Community Support Services at Horizons Mental Health Center. Tyler’s role is to oversee all of Horizons’ adult outpatient psychiatric rehabilitation services. His team provides psychiatric case management, peer support, employment, housing, and care coordination services to individuals who are experiencing serious mental illness or who have acute needs due to mental health challenges.
Tyler came to Hutchinson in 2009 as a youth pastor. After working in church ministry until 2017, Tyler made a career change and entered the world of behavioral health. After 18 months as a Crisis Case Manager, Tyler took over as Horizons’ Peer Support and Housing Supervisor and then another 18 months later, Tyler moved into the Director role that he currently holds.
Tyler’s heart and passion is to be an agent of change in ensuring that our community members are given the opportunity to have their basic needs met. He is heavily involved in housing efforts for low income populations, reducing the impact of homelessness on a persons life, providing employment opportunities to those who need work and can’t get it, and providing a path to stabilization for people with severe mental illness and substance use challenges.
Tyler has been married to his wife, Kate, for 16 years. They have 3 children; Jonah, Mazie, and Greyson. In his free time Tyler enjoys traveling, tinkering with electronics, and improving his graphic design skills. Tyler is an avid sports fan, and loves sitting down on a Saturday night (often later than most people) to watch a Boise State football game.
