Matthew's Bio
Being a person with lived experience in both SUD (Substance Use Disorder) and Mental Health issues, I have the honor of not only advocating for, but working with, those experiencing the same barriers I had to overcome throughout my journey of recovery being a co-morbid (dual diagnosis) person. My current work involves people with SUD and/or Mental Health issues.
Matthew is a Kansas Certified Peer Mentor, Person Centered Case Manager, Kansas Certified Peer Specialist and Suicide Prevention certification.
I have 8 wonderful children that help to push me every day to be a better person and continue my journey forward. I also love to play drums, percussion, read, and listen to music in my leisure time.
